Stan Waterman Hosts Dive Trip on NAI'A
With Fiji's spectacular coral reefs to entertain us by day and one of scuba diving's early pioneers, Stan Waterman, on-board to regale us with his memories and stories of what has truly been a charmed life, the tone was set for a great week.
Coral Reef Alliance
This was a great trip & very interesting from a conservation point of view. Organized by Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL) – a non profit organization helping to unite & empower local communities to save coral reefs - who in this case happen to be here in Fiji.
Fantastic Fiji
Namena came up trumps once again. It is one area where there is such an abundance of marine life all packed in a small reef system.
Lucky 13
Saturday may the 23rd and Nai'a is once again ready to sail. After a good four day break her crew are refreshed and smiling looking forward to being at sea.
Boom and the 'Gang'
Nai'a welcomed back an old friend - Mike Boom. Mike worked aboard Nai'a as the trip videographer in 2008. Now back in San Diego. Mike missed the Fijian waters and decided that he would bring a group of his dive buddies along with him.
“Central Fiji has all the elements of the ultimate ocean wilderness: diverse creatures and habitat, nutrient-rich water, spectacular scenery and owners who respect it.”
