How to Book
Individuals and groups can book a NAI’A charter directly with our office in Fiji. Alexx or Joeli will efficiently answer your questions and sort all your details.
You will be flying into Nadi International Airport (NAN)
Lautoka Main Wharf
No. Entry into the Lautoka Wharf is restricted and a pass is required.
Yes. We provide transfers from most hotels in Nadi &/or the Nadi International Airport to the boat. Pick-up begins between 1.00pm - 1.30pm on charter days.
Yes. Your charter ends at 8.00am and a bus will drop you off at your hotel or the Nadi airport.
You can make your request and we will do our best to accommodate it. We do not make the final cabin assignments until the charter is full or a few days before the charter as we don’t have the final numbers of singles bookings vs couple bookings.
We realize that this is an inconvenient request, but due to the current and ongoing laws here in Fiji, we do require a negative COVID test taken within 24-hours prior to boarding NAI’A. A positive case is required to isolate for 5-days, this is not an easy task on a ship.
On NAI’A gratuities are not included and are totally at the guests discretion. If you would like to reward the crew for exceptional service, the industry standard is approximately 10%-15% of the published price of the charter. We divide all gratuities equally among the entire crew. Payment of gratuities can be by cash or credit card (AMEX, MasterCard or Visa).
We welcome snorkelers on our charters however please note that not all of our sites are suitable for snorkeling.
Yes. We offer a US$100 per person discount for non-divers / snorkelers.
Yes.
Yes we offer non-share cabins or "Single Supplement" and this will cost an additional 75% of the total charter price.
We welcome children aged 10 years and older on NAI’A as long as they are well-behaved, obedient and have been exposed to similar traveling. Parents/guardians have to be with the child at all times to ensure their safety. If both parents want to dive and the child remains on board, they must ensure that he/she is able to stay onboard without any supervision from our crew. He/she must stay away from all prohibited areas.
Currently we do not have to charge a fuel surcharge
Our chefs are very accommodating with all varieties of dietary requests/requirements/restrictions. Please just let us know in advance so that we can be sure to stock up.
Nai’a is thrilled to offer a Starlink Maritime service for our guests. It is USD$150.00 for your charter days and is payable onboard. Please talk to your Cruise Directors onboard about getting your voucher.
Brand new divers can join us however, we would be much more comfortable if you did your Advanced course before coming on NAI’A. We would like you to have the mandatory Deep and Navigation and we would strongly encourage you to do the Drift and Buoyancy portions. We would also like you to complete 30 dives within 1 calendar year prior to joining Nai’a. This is to ensure that you are really comfortable in the water as a comfortable diver is a safe diver.
This depends on what you are personally interested in when diving and what you want to see. If you rather dive in warm water then summer (November - April) would be your choice. If you want to dive in the best visibility, then the cold season (May - October) is better.
All our accommodations are at the waterline and every cabin has portholes but they do not open.
Unfortunately no. Nai’a is not wheelchair friendly but we’ve had guests with health conditions or impairments onboard in the past and our crew can assist them onboard. Our accommodation cabins are down below on the waterline so the guests will have to go down steep steps to get to the cabins.
We no longer supply the 15L tanks as they are dangerous for our crew to be lifting in and out of the water and the skiffs. The standard scuba tanks we have are 11.1 Litre/ 80 cu ft.
The boat is equipped with US (110V) and Australian (240V) Standard electrical outlets.
Hair Dryers are available in every cabin.
Yes.
Yes, on the stern platform.
2 dive masters & 2 dive instructors.
8 divers per divemaster/dive instructor
We have 14 strong capable crew onboard who will be ready to help you carry your tank or BCD.
We will be diving in two Marine Protected Areas. Nai’a pays for the permission to dive there and we ask our guests if they would be willing to donate to these MPA’s. If they do not want to donate it doesn’t change anything for the guests.
